We went to the LSDream show last night. I really want to love this venue, I will definitely give it another shot. The show itself was loads of fun, but it seemed like it may have been oversold. It was sold out, but people were packed in so tight there wasn’t much room to dance. there were two toilets that were overflowing at the beginning of the show.
Another fantastic experience at The Stache! The check-in process is consistently excellent, the restrooms are spotless, and the bar service is outstanding!
The Intersection is both historic and iconic. Even years before moving to the city I would make the trip to visit here because of the impact they had. Even miles away it would resonate to where I was at that point. Now having lived here for several years I've had many more opportunities to frequent this space. Most have been incredible and some have been much less than mentionable. However, every experience here has been memorable. Two of the greatest assets this venue has are two guys who work security in this space. Charlie and Jon are both great guys. While being amazing at their jobs they are also very personable and friendly. I have had many exchanges with them in the past that have only added to my experiences here. Aside from being personable and friendly they also work very hard to maintain the security of the space. With four different venues in this building there really is something for everyone. It also never ceases to amaze me however skillfully they can host multiple shows within the same building. Most impressive is how they accomplish this without any overlapping sounds from space to space. I do of course love the founding stage here. However, as of late I have been quite partial to Elevation. I don't much care for The Stache and I've not yet been to The Mint. All in all you can't go wrong with The Intersection.
