Stopped in for dinner at Gallio while I was in Granada. The menu has a little bit of something for every Italian craving. I ordered the margherita pizza and the gambones al piri piri. The pizza is thin and shareable, but it can be consumed as an entree as well. The cheese had a good pull to it. It was a nice pizza in city center. As for the shrimp, they were fresh and tasty. I’d recommend ordering some bread with this starter.
We have been eating tapas for about 3 weeks in Spain and was looking for some comfort food being spaghetti and pizza. We ate in a tented outdoor setting which was pretty nice and the service was efficient and decent. However the food was not as good as we had hoped. The spaghetti sauce was decent and palatable but the pizza was not so good. We ordered a basic Margarita pizza which should have tomato sauce with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and basil. We basically got a cheese pizza that did not taste like mozzarella, no tomatoes and barely any basil on a crust that was cardboard. Quite disappointed. Overall I would not go back to this restaurant. Maybe it was a bad day but it is difficult to go wrong on a basic pizza but that pizza was not good.
If you are hungry don't go there. The portions are tiny and we complained to the waitress that a plate of 5 ravioli for 15,90€ is extortionate. We left feeling hungry and ripped off. la porciones son tan pequeñas que tuvimos que ir a comer otra vez. Muy mala experiencia. Engaño total.
Ordered ravioli but it was mush in a sauce. Not one piece of pasta resembled raviolli. Bread never came but was charged until pointed it out. Salad was the best thing about it. Thought it was going to be a nice evening dinner in the square but was disappointing.
