Almost every time I went there, they had different vegan cakes: apple banana, banana, cherry chocolate. all cakes are really delicious, moist and filling. they also serve hearty open sandwiches with different spreads (usually vegetarian, some vegan). the bread tastes good too. for coffee they have a lot of options; milk and soy milk are available. when ordering on the theke (which is required), the friendly and easy-going staff will probably chat with them. the terrace is spacious, inside there are some convenient places and some places that are less comfortable.
Tried their vegan breakfast, the oatmeal sounds fancy with chia, nuts, and almonds but they mix what must be half of a teaspoon into the milk... tiny portion for 5€ rather disappointing, for breakfast they have two kinds of bread and ~vegan spreads you can choose from. Some of the spreads (especially the vegan creamcheese) are really tasty some (eg the avocado one are rather boring and disappointing) the whole grain bread was just ok. General coffee with a girlfriend in the new Maria Coffee Bread in the former Cello Café Bar . The owners of Sausalitos have opened a beautiful café with a simple concept: breathing food like mothers. As in some chains you will receive a summer that informs you when you can pick up its food drinking order and payment at the beginning. The operation is not carried out. You have to put your food on a tray yourself. Ambiente The facility was probably mostly taken over, but everything is still very new. Ear chair, brown leather, cosiness and typical coffee house atmosphere prevails. Everything held in beige and brown with the classic coffee accessories that seem to be selected with a lot of love. A little light green on the wall gives the necessary freshness. To order, you can go up a small wooden staircase after entering. There was a lot of trouble with us. On the wooden counter you can pick up your tray. There are several cozy seating on the floor and in the entrance area you can sit on stools on standing tables. The bright wooden furniture looks friendly. Surely the larger courtyard is the highlight of this location. Here you can sit on beer dishes between a little green in the middle of the city and enjoy their small soase for coffee. The floor is covered by pebbles. Probably this area is also the most popular. The Latte Macchiato was made with one of these huge gastro machines and had a lot of foam and tasted good for me. I'm not the big coffee machine because I drink tea. There were small cookies for the hot drinks, and I passed my cookies to my girlfriend. All meals are served on simple, beautiful dishes. I like it! Whoever sits in the outside area must also get his leaks there and now I'm pretty clear why this is not served. Not only that you save personnel only two people at the exit and less stress, no, you are not constantly forced to run through the stupid pebbles in the outside. Dumb if you can't handle a little tray as a guest... In the café, however, I find self-service not as annoying as with warm dishes. The trend seems to go more and more in this direction. When leaving, your tray with dishes is simply placed in a prepared frame in the outdoor area. Cleanliness The ladies' toilet is very, very narrow and due to the strong visitor desire it was also a bit dirty, especially the floor. Conclusion Fresh and tasty, homemade food and beverages, beautiful ambience especially indoor gardens and relaxed audiences, unfortunately no service and not necessarily inexpensive for a longer stay. But the mares look so appetizing that I like to try again!
