Villa Il Mio in Meerane is located obliquely opposite the Romantikhotel Schwanefeld. It has rooms in several floors and also a bowling alley is available. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. Unfortunately, I have to take off a star, because our dinner for the seminar group meeting was scheduled for 19:00 until 20:30. But there was a Ramazzotti as compensation. The next time, it's gonna work with 5 stars.
We booked a romantic weekend at the Romantik Hotel Schwanefeld and a 3-course menu at Villa Il Mio. We were very friendly received by the service and could choose a table on the terrace. The restaurant was well visited. I guess half of the guests come from Hotel Schwanefeld, the owner is both, and the other half of the place. There is a colourful audience and a relaxed atmosphere. We felt just as comfortable, mainly due to the perfect operation of the young lady, so I haven't experienced her for a long time. We were even asked if the menu was so good or if we had a wish for change. Just very accommodating!!! In the house there is also a bowling alley with 2 lanes and a billiard room. On the way there was a tomato snack that was very tasty, the ingredients were fresh, the consistency was perfect. The main course was Penne al Salmone (pipe noodles with salmon cubes in cream sauce, with Broccoli). Here too, the food is very delicious and also very good in terms of freshness. As dessert there was the raspberry Panna Cota in the wine glass. The Panna Cota was made naturally and the raspberry mousse was fresh and was served warm. That's right. Actually, I'm not a friend of Panna Cota, but here I'm sure I'll eat it again. Good. As a drink we had Pinot Grigio 0.2 ltr and a bottle of San Pellegrino. I cannot give any information about the price of the 3-course menu, as it is prepared for the guests of the hotel and not on the map. 0.2 ltr Pinot Grigio costs 3.50 euros and a bottle of water 4.95 euros. The prices in general are completely good I can also recommend the cocktails, for 5,50 euros you are served very well. Conclusion: The Il Mio cannot be recommended in any way.
