What Ángeles Sanabria dislikes about Candlelight Restaurant:
This is an older restaurant but is always busy when we drive by so we thought we would try it. The interior is nothing special but the service and food was good. I had their spaghetti and meat sauce with garlic bread. The sauce was very tasty and homemade. The seniors portion was more than enough for me. Garlic bread was a little on the dry side. My husband had a roast beef on rye sandwich with coleslaw, which he sai... View all feedback.

I recently had the best dining experience at this restaurant. The Sunday smorgasbord was incredible, with a seasoned gentleman who has been in the restaurant business for 51 years serving at the back. The restaurant has been open since 1974, and the roast beef was the best I've ever had. The pork and wings were also amazing. At $21 per person, it was definitely worth it. The older building, friendly staff, and delicious food made for a perfect dining experience. What more could you ask for?
New to Huron county and Goderich. Found restaurant from coffeshop Conversations with locals. Owner has same first name and great we had common backgrounds. Today went for buffet brunch. Awesome. Reasonable price. Excellent quality. Fresh fruits. Good selection of desserts. Water served on ice was refreshingly delicious, crystal clear without floating particles and no rusty or chlorine taste. Had 3 full glasses. Coffee brewed fresh with perfect aroma and no bitterness. Drunk several cups black all at the right temperature. Bottomless coffee. Owner and servers all talked to Me politely and courteously. My order is as follows. 3 glasses water 3 coffees 2 separate fully loaded plates of ... Scrambled eggs ... 12pieces bacon ... Cubed fried potatoes ... 4 slices of french toast with butter and syrop ... 2 fruit plates with pineapple rings, peach slices, fresh slices of apples, slices of cantaloupe, fresh orange melon slices Good sized 2 slices of lemon meringue pie. Slice of cherry cream pie. Slice of chocolate topped sponge cream pie. All this $14.95 I could eat a full third round but was embarrassed to. Lol. If you are nearby drop in. You won't be disappointed.
This restaurant offers delicious food and excellent service. The Sunday Smorgasbord is highly recommended, and they also offer special smorgasbords for holidays. The smorgasbord includes an all-you-can-eat salad bar, dessert bar, two types of meat, vegetables, and a carb option, usually mashed potatoes. The prime rib is particularly outstanding, and is likely the best in town.
