in an area surrounded by Mexican food, this place stood out to me. Megan was my server and she was an absolute rockstar. outdoor patio area was superbly lit AND there was a gentleman playing the accordion, so the vibes were on point. Besides Rosie McCaffreys, this is my other favorite watering hole, good food, cold big beers, my dads Irish and my mothers German, the best of both worlds.
This vibrant beer garden boasts fantastic beer and perfectly warm, soft pretzels that are ideal for enjoying in the sunshine. The servers are friendly and attentive, making for a great experience. I would highly recommend this place!
What a great spot to hang out in downtown Glendale. The German beer selection is great and they are huge, I'm talking Andre the Giant sized beers! Sorry I didn't get any pics of the food my phone died . But let me tell you it is amazing as well. We sat on the patio which IS Dog friendly, huge plus! and tried the Giant pretzel with cheese and mustard, the potato pancakes and the sauerkraut balls. They are all delicious and very large portions. You definitely get the feel that you are at a place that cares about bringing you a great meal, and a better experience. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. After the enormous beers and apps we called it a night but we will definitely be back to try more of the authentic German food and I will make sure to get some pics next time. Definitely give this spot a try if you haven't yet.
I love the homey feel this place has. I went with a party of four we split two of the entrees two of the appetizers. There was plenty of food to go around. The chicken parmesan was super juicy good. The appetizers were also very delicious. I willdefinitely be back to enjoy more food!
We had the best time! Our server Zach was amazing!! The was to die for. I think we ordered the whole menu... We had three boxes of leftovers!
