A cute little restaurant in the popular bazaar of Gjirokaster. We would recommend to take a couple of the traditional appetizers to share; especially the cheese with honey and the Fergesa (cottage cheese) were delicious. As for the mains, we mostly loved the Moussaka that appeared to have a hint of cinnamon. All the dishes are quite small, so make sure to order a couple. We would skip the rice balls, as they were very plain, big, filling and a bit tasteless.
The restaurant offers good quality food at a reasonable price. The waiters speak English fluently and the location is perfect - right in the center but on a quiet street. The food was delicious, although the portion sizes could be larger. The service was good overall. This is a great place for a dinner outing, with prices ranging from ALL 2,000-2,500 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a rating of 4 out of 5.

Make sure to inquire with the staff about the vegan choices as they informed us that the vegetable balls are not clearly labeled as containing egg. However, from what they informed us, the majority of the menu is clearly labeled. There are numerous delicious vegan options available. The stuffed vegetables are all flavorful and generously portioned. For a satisfying meal, make sure to try the large beans seasoned with herbs and bursting with flavor, they are absolutely delicious!
