I visited for dinner before a local musical event in Georgetown and sat in the bar area of the restaurant. Our server, a lively and quick-talking young lady from College Station, was also the bartender. She was friendly, accommodating, and attentive. We had our first dining experience at Wildfire, and it was wonderful! Our server was excellent—super friendly and offered fantastic recommendations. We decided to sample a bit of everything: chicken fried steak, seafood pasta, catfish, and the daily special, redfish. However, the highlight of the meal was definitely the dessert. The chocolate cake and peach cobbler were among the best I've ever tasted! The margaritas were also impressive; the bartenders certainly know how to pour! I can't wait to return and try something new!
I would easily give Wildfire 5 stars if it weren?t for the lack of seasoning on my chicken fried steak. I think it may have been a one off. Texture was great and all the sides were properly seasoned. Atmosphere, waitstaff and drinks are 10/10. Hubby had the duck and has not stopped raving about it. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. Ask for Bruce he is amazing!
Such a gem for Georgetown! Business dinner for our group handled well and with finesse! The food is really good we tried a lot of things but it is primarily a steak house so all the steaks we tried were great! The venison was phenomenal and the duckwas also very good! The appetizers were brought out quick and we're done to perfection I would recommend the calamari (I knowboring but crispy and delicious), the artichokes and the polenta wedges! A little loud but I would highly recommend it!
Enjoyed lunch with a larger group of friends on a Friday. Facility is lovely with a full bar and a separate dining room, plus a private room you may reserve for special events. See pics. We enjoyed good service, and they provide delicious complimentaryrolls. My shrimp enchiladas were delicious, as well as my chocolate torte and coffee. Others enjoyed a 10 ounce bacon wrappedfilet, and a New York steak. Everyone enjoyed their meal and they were expertly prepared and presented. Prices are actuallyquite good considering the quality of the food. Adult beverages are available, as well as a fine wine list.
