Nestled in the heart of Lambley, the recently renovated restaurant has garnered mixed reviews since its change in ownership. While many diners have praised the charming atmosphere and attentive service, others have voiced concerns over limited menu options and inconsistent food quality. First time back in this restaurant for many years. New owners with clearly a new vision for good quality food. We only had sandwiches but never had chicken breast sandwich with curry mayonnaise and mango quite so tastefully done ! Chips fabulous . And a good price too ! Defo a win win and I will be back !
Had a great lunchtime meal with 33 u3a members . The food was delicious and the presentation wonderful . Kieran and his staff gave excellent service to all 33 of us . Would recommend The Lambley for lunchtime /evening groups as all went very smoothly indeed .
Delicious Sunday Beef roast. Perfectly cooked beautiful tender beef with accompanying veg and a Yorkshire pudding. Ordered a side portion of cauliflower cheese to share which served four of us. Good service and a decent Rioja wine. Very enjoyable Sunday afternoon meal.
Beautiful restaurant with a charming atmosphere, recently renovated with ample parking. The staff were courteous, but we were all let down by the absence of a lunch menu, making our meal quite expensive. Additionally, the 20% service charge seemed excessive. Despite this, we had a good time with four drinks and four of the cheapest mains totaling £98.
The restaurant is now under new ownership, which is long overdue. The food is excellent and the prices are fair for the quality. Despite rumors of high prices, they are not extortionate. It would be great if they expanded their offerings to include breakfast, a cafe, deli, and fresh options during the day. As a resident of the village, I would love to see these additions.
