Way better than Brown Brothers! The seasonal set menu offers fantastic value, especially enjoyed with three couples. The protein was cooked to perfection, and the rich flavors complemented the wines beautifully. View all feedback.

Very dissapointing unfortunately. Our bruschetta with 'winter ' vegetables came out stone cold and they admitted that it was supposed to be warm. A trainee waiter bumped me twice, the second time spilling red wine on my jacket and as bad as I felt for him I really expected a little more compensation than just an apology. Just perfect! We came here today for lunch to celebrate our first wedding anniversary! My husband and I sat outside on the picnic tables with our dog and the scenery was perfect! We cannot speak more highly of Gapsted Wines! The food was incredible and the service impeccable! Thank you, we cannot wait to come back!
Planned to go to the deer farm for lunch but on arriving discovered it closed so went to Gapsted instead. So glad that we did. The staff were prompt, giving us a lovely semi sheltered table in the sun. Bread water quickly followed. The waitress suggested that since we were not in a hurry that we pop inside to the cellar door and have a tasting before ordering wine. Splendid idea! My black trevally was served with a carrot and fennel puree and crisp broad beans .The bloke enjoyed his herb filled lamb rump and the others both had the stuffed chicken. Good service, good wines but pricy food that was just average. The wet paella with pre cooked rice and undercooked chorizo is a no no.
The food was exquisite! I had the Barramundi while my partner enjoyed the fillet steak. We paired our meal with a bottle of Pinot Gris wine. The staff were fantastic!
Whether you are wanting to eat or sample some wines, here you find lots of choice for both, in a large space supported by helpful and knowledgeable staff. Shame the 'lower ' car park was full, so a larger area up on a rise helps. Nice views from there which is rewarding..
