We discovered Barrique during a long walk along the waterfront. It was a pleasant surprise to be able to sit outside in January. We enjoyed the ploughman's board, which had high-quality ingredients. We highly recommend it. The staff were also very pleasant. View all feedback.

We got a table easily and ordered our drinks and the mixed charcuterie board. The food was lovely and we were trying to relax but sadly 2 members of staff spoilt it. We held the baby shower of our daughter here and I have to say what an excellent place. the personal could not have been more helpful and attentive. when we built up in the morning, they helped with the decoration and the moving tables. the charcuterie grazing boards were fabulous quality and went really well. the prosecco at the arrival was supplemented with candy-floss, which a nice fun. they didn't kick us out and visit us in love with everything. Always love to go here. they have excellent weeping and the guy who runs it is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable and happy to discuss weeping with them. her wine tasting is really good and good to book. my favorite place to stop in lytham.
Beautiful environment, wonderful service and personal, eating amazing, would recommend this small place of parathis in the heart of lytham!
Nice enough wine however need a better system if it’s going to be ‘first come first served’. I’d tried to call to reserve a table several times but no answer (seems like other people have had this issue as well from their Facebook) so we arrived around 5:30pm and it was very busy. We ordered drinks and two girls came in after us ordered drinks and we’re waiting for a table too. I asked the bar man about booking to which he replied ‘first come first served’ and then when one did come free the two girls were quickly ushered to it even though we had been waiting longer. If you’re going to operate this policy maybe try a wait list as it’s not really a fair system. We left and went to Zest instead which was lovely.
Having been here a few times in the past we were very disappointed how standards have fallen. The place was very grubby, staff stood around doing nothing when the floor inside needed a good sweep, food and leaves everywhere. Staff walked past biscuit wrappers on the floor and no one thought to pick them up when they were there and so obvious. We sat outside at first, dirty table, not just ours, there were a few that needed clearing and the floor was a mess too. We asked for the table to be wiped and unbelievably were handed a damp piece of kitchen roll to do it ourselves. We moved inside. Toilets no better, neglected and problem with one that would not even flush. Obviously being ignored and unreported. To us the staff were being disrespectful of the owners, allowing this to be. They all needed a good shake up and reminded that they have a job and are being paid for the privilege. Will certainly give this place a wide berth from now on, which is such a shame as it used to be good.
