I absolutely love Oriental Wok! The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food is outstanding. We started with some crabs, followed by a cured dish and the evening's special, which featured thick cuts of pork. Love Mr Wongs restaurant Server was wonderful Sadly I believe they put MSG in their food. After a few bites, I felt ill. I love spicy green beans and this time had with shrimp. We arrived at the restaurant shortly after 6:30pm. As we entered, we noticed that a group of three women behind us were greeted before us, which we found strange. We were seated at a table and ordered an appetizer. Unfortunately, the Crab Rangoons and sauce were terrible. However, the Hot and Sour soup was good. My entree was overwhelmed with sauce, the vegetables were undercooked, and despite being listed as spicy, it was sweet like pancake syrup. It seems that this restaurant may have been better in the past, but it appears they have lost their passion for cooking. The prices are excessive for the quality of the food. We felt there was no value for what we received on our plates, and it seemed more like a place for the wealthy to spend money and socialize. We will not be returning. Very good, Mr Wong always treats his customers well and service is the best.
We had our Valentine lunch at Oriental Wok and very happy with all the food. We started off with egg rolls and and Crab Rangoon. Next a cup of soup . We split an entree of Chicken Chow Mien. We have not had that in quite awhile and really enjoyed it . We split the chow mien and still have take home. I always enjoy our meals in Fort Mitchell and Hyde Park. Service was great.
