AR's is a tidy and welcoming restaurant. The food is excellent, and the portion sizes are just right. If you want to savor every bite of your meal, this is the perfect spot. The portions aren't oversized, which I think is a positive aspect. I appreciate the menu they offer. My only wish is that they would open for dinner, as my wife and I find it challenging to meet there for lunch. View all feedback.

I've dined here frequently, but it seems that if I order anything outside of the lunch specials, I end up without beans and rice. Always a fantastic experience! The food is amazing and the service is top-notch! Be sure to try the enchiladas, carne guisada, or breakfast tacos—they're all outstanding!
This restaurant is great, although it is a bit small. However, the food is genuinely delicious!
I had the menudo, and it was fantastic! My husband ordered the gordita plate, and he enjoyed it too. We'll definitely return the next time we're in Freeport. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere felt welcoming, and the bathrooms were clean.
Nice spot that the locals seem to hang out at. Salsa was bomb, great flavor and thickness. Chilaquiles were good, lots of food for the price. The lone waitress was very attentive, despite everyone being super spread out in the dining room. The restaurant was nothing to write home about, kinda dark with cheap tables and chairs, but it seemed well cleaned. I would definitely go back if I was in the area, maybe take it to go and hit the beach.
You can NOT beat the breakfast tacos here! They are the best in Brazoria County! The size alone are enough to feed you for 2 days unless you get the Gorda, you can eat that for 3 day! And the rest of their menu is just as delicious! Staff is amazing also!
