This popular neighborhood restaurant and bar was bustling when we visited on a Sunday afternoon. The service was a bit slow, but the food made up for it. I ordered the Teriyaki salmon which was served with two sides. The sweet potato fries were amazing, but the steamed broccoli was a bit plain for my taste, although I enjoyed it. The salmon was tasty, though the sauce was a tad too sweet for my liking. Overall, my family and I were satisfied with our meals.
We went to this restaurant for dinner on a Wednesday at around 6pm. The dining room was empty when we arrived but started to fill up as we were leaving. I started with a cup of cream of crab soup, which was delicious with a good amount of crab and well-seasoned. The Wedge Salad was impressive, a large portion with iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, bacon, and blue cheese crumbs. I added the flank steak, which unfortunately was not cooked to medium rare as I had requested and lacked flavor. My husband had the Calamari, which was tender but the coating was flavorless. His New York Strip steak was cooked perfectly and he enjoyed the Ceasar Salad, but the rice pilaf was unremarkable. The dessert selection was decent, but the Chocolate Dream Cake we chose was disappointing - stale, dry, and flavorless. The employees were friendly and the service was satisfactory.
We have been customers of this place since it opened. I remember a time when the food was great. They would never have given us food that was not high quality. Over the last year, the place has slowly one downhill. We just paid $80 for a carryout order.Fish and chips was fine. Side salad barely covered the bottom of the container. Wedge salad was not fresh. I got no dressing.The toppings were not appetizing, and mostly red onion. I ordered extra crab meat or my soup. There was barely any at all. Wingswere cold on the inside, and served with no dressing and some sad curled up celery and carrots. Prices have gone up, but qualityshould not have one down. Can't blame covid or the great resignation for that. Sadly, we can no longer recommend AtlanticGrille.
Specifically for their breakfast menu: Not overly expensive for good, traditional breakfast options. Highly recommend the french toast and eggs benedict options. They would benefit from adding some breakfast specials/rotating items to mix it up. Fortheir dinner menu: Pretty solid, consistent food. I love when there's a cider on tap as well, so I was happy to see bold rockon tap. Overall: Nothing we've had was individually amazing, but it's been a good, consistent spot. Highly recommend to giveit a shot!
