Fishers - Fraser
Fishers
Description
A beloved Fraser hangout serving outstanding pub fare—fish & chips, elk chili and burgers—at reasonable prices across surprisingly roomy dining areas and front/back patios. The vibe is chill and lively with live music, sports viewing and friendly bartenders, making it ideal for locals, groups and night owls. Service can be inconsistent—occasional long waits and menu stockouts—and a strict ID policy plus limited parking have unsettled some visitors. Still, the food and atmosphere make it a worthwhile stop if you temper expectations for speed.

It's one of the few spots in Grand County where you can enjoy an affordable lunch, especially with their weekday specials!
The staff refused to accept a valid vertical 21+ ID from another state. The local crowd was quite unwelcoming and seemed to prefer not having outsiders around. As a Coloradan, I was disappointed by the experience and won’t be taking my out-of-state friends there again.
You can tell whether the barkeeper likes your face or not by having to show your ID or not. He obviously didn't like my 40-year-old face. Other guests were not asked to show their IDs... I don't recommend that bar for tourists.
