we had the most fantastic meal here. every aspekt des restaurants was great. a refreshing light room, friendly, knowledgeable staff all support the unusual menu. such a light note of amazing aromen, the best meal we had in florence. uninhabited with Sicilian wein we were recommended to successful wein pairings. 10/10, thank you. Lovely place and friendly staff but the food was a miss for us. The Azzurro in Beccafico (grilled bluefish with breadcrumbs) lacked flavor and the Il Risotto Vestito (baked risotto ball w/ the fish of the day) was overpowered by a the lemon/citrus flavor. View all feedback.

Amazing street food options and full menu also. friendly staff, beautiful ambiente and fabulous vino bianco! molto bene!
Sicilian food Wine restaurant in the center of Florence. Large selection of wines from Sicily as well as some authentic food. (but a little too high class to be proper Sicilian expirience Friendly staff, and good atmosphere. Recommended if you are a bit tired of Tuscany. :
Sizilien restaurant ara e sud is a good alternative if they tire the Tuscan farewell. as others have noticed, a vegetar can dinate here, but understand that the focus is on seafood. for this purpose I ordered the tasting menu. it consists of 6 cursors from the menu, but smaller in size, so that they do not explode at the end. good. the courses were: raw fish, sardelle crostini (super-yum), grilled otopus and swirling, a fried Risotto ball thing (yum,) catching the day, and dessert. the ambiente is pleasant, the table elegant, and the waitress was very friendly.
