I got a Dirty Chai with a double shot of espresso and the Italian Melt. She got an Iced Chai Latte and the La Caprese! Super impressed, great food, great beverages, super friendly staff! View all feedback.
I got a “vegan cherry pie” and it was SO good!!! It was homemade and you could definitely tell. I also ordered a half iced tea half lemonade, which was good but I wish it had a little more tea in it. When I finished that, I ordered an iced coffee with almond milk. That was the jackpot for me. Such a strong flavor but not overwhelming. I’d definitely come back here for the iced coffee and pastries!!! There are many couches to sit on (4) and lots of tables for seating. The server seemed a bit rushed but I assume she was just busy cleaning in the back. It didn’t take away or add anything to my experience. Parking: Paid street parking on weekdays; free parking on Sundays!
The drinks were served as requested, and the staff was very friendly. The space was clean and enjoyable. It has a fantastic location, conveniently located near shops and attractions in downtown Ferndale.
Absolutely loved it here. Went to have coffee with my bonus parent. And we had such a great time. Iced chai tea was BETTER than StarB’s . And the staff isn’t “ hover-y “ or pestering you. Great atmosphere. Will be back If I could rate. 10 I would.

I visited Java Hutt in Ferndale for the first time and appreciated how helpful the employee was, especially with the WiFi. I had some trouble connecting at first, but they assisted me. I ordered a milk tea and a chocolate chip cookie. I also enjoyed checking out the bulletin board, which featured upcoming events in Ferndale, Oak Park, and Berkley.
