the restaurant has one of the best dishes in all algarve. her razor clam is fantastic and not to find a simple dish (and more difficult to master). their portions are also huge, so they will certainly be very fully abandoned. another highlight is the seafood açorda and the lemon merengue pie. We arrived about 8.40pm to a restaurant that was by no means full, but sadly our main courses didn't arrive until about 9.50pm and to be frank they were very average. Our waitress was very apologetic, but it spoiled our evening as you might imagine. Not recommended View all feedback.

Beautiful steaks. Staff friendly and accommodating. Really worth a visit if your in Faro
In the Montevideo neighborhood of Faro, I lucked out because this is the nearest restaurant to my Airbnb. The service is friendly and fast, and my vegetable soup and octopus rice were excellent! Locals seem to love this place, and I recommend it with no hesitation if you are in or near Faro
I saw the reviews on Trip Advisor and we were very glad we tried it out. My husband had a salmon steak. (1st time being impressed with how it was cooked and feeling full afterwards) I had the beef stroganoff, which tasted amazing. The food arrived piping hot and beautifully presented. Drinks were expensive though. Jennifer the waitress, was friendly and helpful. There were quite a few Portuguese people, which says a lot when locals frequent a place. A lovely evening, would recommend this restaurant. We're glad we read the reviews.
