We had a meal there today, December 8, 2022, and unfortunately, we waited an hour and a half. When our Christmas dinner arrived, it was barely warm and consisted only of turkey breast roll, which was very disappointing. They did offer us a free coffee as compensation, but if this had been our first experience at the restaurant, we would never want to return. I had a wonderful evening out at the restaurant. I ordered the venison mignon, which was incredibly tender and flavorful. The other main course, the pork rib eye, was also tender and delicious. My only minor complaint is that both dishes had a little too much sauce, but I’d prefer that over having too little. The steamed vegetables were perfectly portioned and offered a nice variety. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and there was even live music in the background. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and a great value.
I especially wanted to highlight the gnocchi, which was the best I've had in a long time, coming from someone with an Italian mother! The lamb shanks were also a standout, as they were tender and practically falling off the bone. The restaurant seems to cater primarily to members, particularly an older crowd, and the setting is nice for hosting functions. However, with a bit more promotion, it could attract new patrons for weeknight dining in the area. I'm sure I’ll return.
A hidden gem! This restaurant ranks among the best, all at very reasonable prices. The menu features a variety of options, from light bites to main courses and desserts, showcasing a diverse range of dishes. I have never had a meal that was less than excellent. The service is superb, with the waitstaff and bartenders always pleasant, attentive, and eager to help without being intrusive. At 70 years old, I can confidently say this is the most enjoyable dining experience I have ever had. Highly recommended!
Fabulous Wedding Reception venue. We had our Wedding Reception here, albeit nearly 11 years ago.Having said that our guests still rave about the quality of the venue and the food, no one left feeling hungry, and the food was of excellent quality.The view is gorgeous looking out over the golf course at night, with the large balcony which was enjoyed on our September wedding.The dance floor is a decent size too, which saw most of our 90 guests get up for a boogie.Definitely have a look here for your Wedding reception.
My family and I go here once a year usually for my Dad's birthday. The menu is somewhat limited however in saying that the meals are usually very good. There food is of a high quality and the way the meals are presented look very professional. There is also a salad and veg bar which is a nice addition to the restaurant.
