Perched at the heart of campus, this busy coffee shop offers quick drinks, oven‑warmed snacks and kombucha alongside a popular loyalty punch card. Comfortable couches, ample seating and plentiful outlets make it a favored study and hangout spot for students and young adults. Service is generally friendly and fast, but staffing and barista consistency can cause variable espresso strength and uneven baked goods; healthier items tend to be pricier. Ideal for grab‑and‑go mornings or long study sessions—ask for an extra shot if you want a stronger cup.

Was D at Arctic Java a mag?
Coffee is okay, it's not amazing. But I guess what do you expect from a bunch of college students. It really isn't their fault that employees don't stay for long. And because of that the coffee quality varies. As a coffee lover I would say that the coffee is too weak (not enough coffee ground or a light roast). I've probably bought several dozen cups there now. If you really care for quality in your cup of coffee the... View all feedback.
What Victoria A dislikes about Arctic Java:
I mean, it is the only coffee shop on campus so it's got that going for it. They are often short staffed (especially in the morning) and I don't know how well trained their baristas are because one especially doesn't seem to airate the milk for espresso drinks. They also had a lot of flyers for a local church for Easter which judt seemed weird, and I have nothing against churches. Are they sponsered by a church or so... View all feedback.
Great little snacks to grab on the go, and they make their drinks quickly. The atmosphere is pleasant, making it a nice place to study. The furniture here is the best on campus.
I often enjoy Red Bull kickers, Ice Rages, or coffee at this place. It’s a fantastic spot for studying or hanging out with friends, especially for teenagers and young adults. However, the food can be a bit inconsistent, particularly the baked goods.
Worked here for awhile. North pole coffee now owns this location. They are good people who have good values and espresso!
The staff is efficient and quick. The drinks are comparable to those at Starbucks. The restaurant is located in a newly renovated section of the building.

And because of that the coffee quality varies. As a coffee lover I would say that the coffee is too weak (not enough coffee ground or a light roast). I've probably bought several dozen cups there now. If you really care for quality in your cup of coffee then go to the coffee in the ELIF building. But other than all that, I guess you could drink it. If you want to be sure about a good strong cup of coffee, go for the extra shot.
