He stayed here to get only one drink on the way back to porto after he had walked into the bergen. the lookout on the back is spectacular and the great hotel restaurant certainly makes the best of them! can not comment on the eating place was just. approximately empty to the time late afternoon in the early october.
Stopped for a quick break and small coffee. Authentic place and people that gave us good travel advice for the next steps of our journey
Couples staying 1 night after hiking around the region. Very welcoming staff, especially the owner who was lovely and told us all about the the history of the hotel- he has owned it for around 60 years as well as where to visit nearby. We used the pool which has a great view over the mountains and ate in the restaurant which has an amazing panoramic view- definitely worth a visit for food even if not to stay in the hotel! Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable and good value for the area. We would definitely come back!
