The restaurant was very nice. The waitress was very friendly and efficient when taking our orders. The amount of food we received was ample for price. Ate there Saturday at 5pm. Only a few customers there on our arrival. Took a while to get waited on. Took even longer to get our food. Husband had catfish, fries and coleslaw which he loved. Our shrimp appetizer came after the main course without tartar sauce which never came at all. My baked potato was over cooked and cold. I had to ask again for butter and sour cream. There did seem to be a lack of a majority of menu options. I came primarily for the crab boil. None. Secondly for the chess pie. None. The third was cobbler, which they didn't have either. Though they didn't have what I came for, the food service was still decent.
I had the pleasure of dining here with one of my employees, and it was an outstanding experience! I was truly impressed by the staff; they were incredibly friendly, and the food was simply out of this world. The comfort food was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious! I will certainly be returning often, as this has become one of my new favorite spots.
The place was nice and clean and the staff was very nice. 8oz ribeye was good and i cut it with a butterknife. impressive, but i would have liked a steak knife. shrimp boil looked awesome and everyone loved it. however we went on a friday around 5 and thry were out of greens. They had mac n cheese and yams but they weren't on the menu and nobody mentioned it to us. we overheard it being offered to another customer. All our food was good and a $15.00 steak dinner so tender we will return Returned for theyardbird. it was tasty!
The specialties here include fantastic barbeque, delicious catfish, and a wonderful selection of Southern cuisine! This food is essential in your life. It’s a refreshing change from fast food and chain restaurants.
