Nestled by the serene waters of Lake Eustis, this restaurant boasts a charming location but struggles with service and upkeep. Guests have noted poor cleanliness, with sticky floors and unpleasant odors detracting from the ambiance. Although some dishes like appetizers received praise, main courses often fell short, with reports of overcooked seafood and delays in service. Despite these shortcomings, many diners enjoy the lively atmosphere and affordable drink specials, particularly the two-for-one margaritas. The potential for a pleasant dining experience is evident, but improvements in service and food quality are essential for it to truly shine as a local gem.
During our stay in Mt. Dora, we waited for a boat trip at this lovely restaurant just a short 15-minute drive from downtown. It features both indoor and outdoor seating right by the water and is a favorite among locals. The food here was excellent, and the drinks were strong. We enjoyed a deal on margaritas—2 for $6, which was a great value! The fried mushrooms served with sauce were absolutely delicious, and the chips and salsa with queso were also tasty, with the queso having a perfectly sharp flavor. We tried the scallop basket and the renowned fried fish sandwich, both of which were very satisfying and delicious. It's a fantastic spot to eat and drink by the water.
The food here was incredible, and our waitress, Reighn, was outstanding. After leaving another restaurant, we stumbled upon this place, and it truly exceeded our expectations. It was a fantastic experience!
Food was good, waitress was very friendly and professional. Wait for food was a little long. View from outside was nice. It sits by the pier on the lake.
First time coming out with my boyfriend, and his friends. It was just ok for me. Ordered 20 wings and about half of them were left because they were overcooked. Sad ????... seems like a good location with a nice overview..
We came here waiting for a boat tour while staying in Mt. Dora. Was a short 15 min drive from downtown Mt. Dora. Dive bar on the water with indoor and outdoor seating. Mostly locals. Food was really good. Drinks strong. We had 2 for one margaritas at 6$ for2. Whoo hoo! Fried mushrooms with the sauce were absolutely delicious. Chips and salsa with queso were also good, the queso wasperfectly spicy. Scallop basket and famous fried fish sandwich were both very filling and very good. Great spot to eat and drinkon the water.
