came here with friends on the basis of the travel counsel recommendation, but turned out to be an unpleasant visit. 1. price on quality: at 120 euro they have a sub-average menu: as the second curs the number of gnocchi was not even the same for...ich and my friends. apropos taste, so lala. for the main dish there was almost no garnish (2 mini brokkolis) plus small pieces of meat. that was dessert and was too sweet b... Absolutely wonderful Italian food perfectly explained by the owner-Maitre d. If you want a variation from the menu, just tell him what you want and it will be done. The home made pasta with shrimp I had done with tomato and garlic and it was marvelous !
In all den Jahren hat sich nicht viel geändert . Immer noch ein wenig plüschigNetter Service , der Chef selbst kontrolliert . Alle sehr aufmerksam und freundlich .Das Essen , wir hatten lunch menue mit 3 Gängen . Leicht , locker geschmackvoll .Was will man mehr . Gute Weinkarte , ein bisschen teuerer als gewohnt , aber Siehe oben - service .Kurzum immer noch eine sehr gute Adresse in Essen . Salute
Nach einiger Zeit mal wieder im La Grappa, meinem Lieblingsladen in Essen. Witziges Ambiente, gutes Essen, Hammer Weinkarte, cooler Chef. Hier passt alles zusammen!
Long planned – finally done! La Grappa is a great address for lovers of Italian cuisine on the northern edge of the Südviertel district, just a stone's throw from the main train station. The small, quaint restaurant has something of a cabinet of curiosities about it – lovingly chaotic and full of character. The host: a picture-perfect restaurateur. I was there for a business lunch with wine pairing – a great little escape from everyday life. Perfect for anyone who appreciates good food and an authentic atmosphere. Highly recommended for connoisseurs!
