Cuvee restaurant has received mixed reviews lately, with some customers feeling unsafe due to lack of social distancing. Despite this, others have praised the beautiful ambiance, attentive staff, and delicious menu. One recent positive experience highlighted the improvements made under new leadership, with excellent food and service received. Other customers have enjoyed the lovely outdoor seating area and special menu offerings. I felt very unsafe in the outdoor seating area at this restaurant. People were allowed to smoke and gather from different households right next to our table. We left after only 10 minutes. I had booked this place for my birthday weeks in advance and was extremely disappointed.
Our experience at this restaurant was the worst in a long time. Despite being in tier 3, the restaurant was crowded with no social distancing measures in place. We were served poor quality food from a disappointing menu and paid more than we should have. Cuvee is turning into a disreputable establishment, which is a shame considering it started off well. We weren't the only ones who left early, and even our waitress seemed close to tears. It's unacceptable to put your staff at risk like this.
Great evening with great food and David the sommelier was outstanding. Very friendly and a great asset. Will be back when we are allowed to.
This year, Cuvée really made my Christmas special. I enjoyed a fantastic 2-course lunch for just 15£. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. Thank you, Cuvée!
