Corks Cattle - Enterprise
Corks Cattle
Description
This restaurant presents a mixed dining experience, balancing excellent dishes and service with notable concerns. Diners appreciate the stunning atmosphere and live music, while some have encountered issues like inconsistent food temperatures and overcooked sides. Although prices lean towards the upscale end, patrons compliment generous portions and are encouraged to indulge in desserts. The outdoor seating offers a pleasant dining experience, making it a popular spot for special occasions, but potential visitors should anticipate waits during peak hours and be ready for a slightly upscale bill.

The ambiance is fantastic. In my view, this steakhouse and wine bar ranks among the best places I’ve ever visited. They’ve transformed a former cotton gin into a beautifully rustic yet modern steakhouse. With its exposed beams and original brick and stone, this place offers gourmet cuisine and top-notch steaks. I highly recommend experiencing this hidden gem if you ever find yourself in Montgomery, Alabama. It’s just off the main street in the old town, and it’s definitely worth the trip.
Wow! It's not often that you come across a restaurant as impressive as this one! The atmosphere in the old cotton gin is amazing, and the menu offers fantastic selections that are beautifully presented. The desserts are unique and one-of-a-kind, and the servers are very friendly. I definitely plan to return!
I absolutely adore Corks Cattle! The building has a fascinating history, having once been a cotton gin before falling into disrepair. The renovations have turned it into a beautiful space that evokes a sense of nostalgia. The food is excellent for both lunch and dinner, making it a fantastic choice for small gatherings as well.
This place is a delightful hidden gem. We waited around 15 minutes without a reservation, but there were plenty of distractions to keep us entertained. They offer a fantastic selection of drinks to peruse while you wait. We tried the crayfish dip and the steak Alfredo, and both were incredible. I would highly recommend this restaurant. They even had a guitarist playing in the outdoor area, which added to the charm.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a great experience. My server was outstanding, and I ordered the rib-eye with truffle fries. Everything was cooked to perfection. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is that I felt the portion size of my steak didn't quite justify the price. Food: 4/5
