Was Anonym at Sitar a mag?
I must admit to not being an expert on Indian food (My only prior experience being when Indian friends visited last year) but ordered the Ceylon Curry (mild/med) with Pilau Rice and Peshwari Naan. So flavoursome. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the great/genuine service provided by the waitress and chef. View all feedback.

Not bad little resturant. Food quite tasty. Definately good for giving the other half the night off. Nan bread a little doughy lacked flavour. Tandori chicken could use bit more marinade. Other then that not bad. View all feedback.
There were some negative reviews here, but more positive with menulog, so after some research we thought we would go there. very simple ordering system by menulog and a series of very typical Indian foods. after I wasn't for a because Indian, that really hit the place. tasty biryani, also ordered the huh tikka masala, which was really good. the chicken from the tandoor was slightly dry, but delicious. a total satisfying Indian meal do not expect the best, but definitiw a try worth when they are Indian.
Upon seeing that there were no customers at the garden restaurant, I should have known it wasn't a good sign. The food was decent, but the service was terrible. This was the worst dining experience I've had in a long time. After calling to inquire about delivery, I was told they could not deliver until after 7pm. So we decided to dine in instead, but the food took half an hour to be served. The Rogan Josh beef was tough and chewy, not the melt-in-your-mouth experience I was expecting. The sauce was supposed to be hot, but it lacked flavor. Overall, the food had zero taste, which was disappointing for this establishment. I visit Emerald once a month, but I will never be returning to this restaurant.
After reading some previous reviews, we were hesitant to dine at this restaurant. However, a recommendation from a friend persuaded us to give it a try. We decided to order the deluxe banquet, which cost $33 per person. The banquet included three separate curries, all of which were impressive and full of flavor. Our favorite dish was the lamb teeth entrée and the different types of naan provided. Overall, we found the restaurant to be unique and well worth the price. We did not try any non-Indian dishes, as we specifically came to enjoy Indian cuisine. We plan on returning soon. Highly recommended.
Traveling with hubby and stopped to eat Indian food after long day trip. had to wait to order and then had to wait to eat at least half an hour if there was only another table except us ( bad service.) that was not attractive at...all, we prdered chicken madras and asked to make it spicy, it was only chicken stable in some water with twee and curry paste (no salt, no seasoned). can only eat the worst Indian food in Australia. never recommend other people, otherwise it is pure waste of money
I hate to say this but it is the worst meal I have ever had. The service was terrible. The waitress had extreme body odor and had difficulty with English. On asking for the wine menu it was presented and the waitress walked away. On...selecting a bottle of wine the waitress came back and then informed me that the restaurant had no wine available for today after being given the wine list). I then ordered a beer., And to my horror the same situation arose. From the 15 beers available on the drinks list 4 were available. My problems did not end there. They have advertised themselves as a authentic Australian restaurant. I ordered a medium rump steak with pepper sauce. This would have to be the worst steak I couldn't eat it well down road kill would be more digestible. The chef's idea of pepper sauce was grey ox with Pepper shaked over the top of it. Throughout the course of the meal there was no music in the restaurant and you could over here arguing in the kitchen amongst the staff. I could not eat the meal. I'm sorry for the bad review. Will not be revisited by me.
