I was attracted by the listing in the Good Beer Guide, but it was not obvious which of the beers were cask conditioned as they were all on fonts. I was told that my choice was, but it seemed rather cold and fizzy. I was interesting, but rather expensive. A quirky place with probably more seats outside than in, and with a vast selection of bottled beer. Worth a look, but not a traditional pub.
Very interesting place. A cafe and pub and good range of bottled beer. Not easy to find. Need to go down passageway near Johnson’s cleaners on forehill . Really enjoyable outside terrace. 8 or about tables inside. Choice of 4 beers on the tap. Good quality but certainly at “craft prices”!
Came here whilst the girls were shopping. Excellent choice of different beers and ciders served by friendly staff. Can recommend the fruit ciders and the rose wine produced just a few miles away.
Have visited 3 At 3 many times, including during my time off on maternity leave as it seems to be one of the only cafes in Ely that isn't super busy during the week, probably because it isn't a chain cafe and is tucked away. The food menu isn't huge but it is varied and there are plenty of options to choose from including platters and also cake. There is a vast drinks menu including locally brewed beers and ciders which are also available to buy to take home.Only problem I would say is that there are no changing facilities for babies, the staff were very accommodating however and allowed myself and a fellow mum to change our babies in the empty flat above the cafe. On other occasions when it had been quiet we were able to quickly change wet nappies on the floor under the tables outside and no one minded, not sure the same could be said if they were smelly nappies! There is very limited indoor seating and it is mainly outdoor. Obviously the cafe is an old building so there is a limit to what they can do in terms of building work to the cafe.Service is friendly and quick.Worth a visit to try something different.
Visited on many occasions. Sat inside this time as weather was wet and windy. My husband samples a different beer each time, so many to choose from. I love the coffee. The food is good, generous portions and cooked fresh each time. Bacon sandwich and soup today delicious! Staff are always friendly and chatty. Will keep going back for return visits!
