I always appreciate a restaurant that offers something special and distinctive, and when I saw deep-fried bacon on the menu, I was intrigued. After placing our order, we eagerly awaited a taste of something local and different. While deep-fried bacon may not appeal to everyone, if you love bacon, I recommend giving it a shot—you might find it surprisingly enjoyable!

Always awesome. Jon serves up the best tenderloins. Nice variety of sandwiches and sides, generous portions. Comfortable bar/restauraunt, with unique Thursday night specials. Mosr everything is made when you order, sometimes a bit of a wait, but worth it. If you leave hungry it's probably your fault. Not many places these days where you can visit with the owner if you want.
Awesome food, super friendly staff, most definitely worth the drive there. The Ribs were so tender, the meat fell off of the bone!!
Fun place to go , food is good , got some special fries that he made . Not on menu just when he gets a certain kind of potatoes , THEY WERE SO GOOOODD !!!! I want to go back for more !!!
I've had everything they serve up. from the tenderloin to the shrimp to the brisket and today I had chili for the first time. I cannot say enough good things about the food that they serve. I'm just glad that they come to Hiawatha often. always put out an email to all my co-workers at my office when they're in town I also announced it on Facebook . Because I believe in supporting a local business,. and he deserves it
This may be the best thing I’ve ever eaten. The Hogfather is amazing. We had it this weekend and everyone raved about the Loaded Mac Cheese with brisket. I’ve had it several times this summer and have not had a bad experience. Highly recommend.
