Nestled in downtown Edmonton, DOSC marries a chic, vintage interior with a sunny terrace and a bustling café. The menu — from aged steaks and inventive brunch cruffles to excellent coffees, pastries and cocktails — is consistently well executed; gluten-free and vegetarian options are available. Attentive staff and a lively vibe make it a favorite for brunch, anniversaries and coffee breaks, though brunch hours are limited and waits can occur. Prices lean upscale but reflect the quality.
As for dietary restrictions, Monica has to avoid gluten and dairy; her meal was made to order without any negative effects, and we really appreciated the care taken in the kitchen.
This was our first visit to Dosc, and we really enjoyed the charming retro classic vibe of the place. The drinks were fantastic, though the food was good but not exceptional. The ribeye could have been a bit leaner, and the burger was slightly undercooked. The service was excellent, and our server, June, was wonderful! We'll definitely be returning, but we plan to explore a few other items on the menu next time.
I highly recommend the dry-aged ribeye. The flavors and the way it was cooked medium-rare, was perfect.The carpaccio is amazing!The one thing that 's disappointing is their entrees only consist of their protein options. So a regular entree somewhere else with veggies or mash to accompany your steak is non-existent here. You can pay for a salad or mash they have those options.But the steak prices are $43-$80 so keep that in mind.Although everything was so delicious just having protein for dinner left me unsatisfied and wanting something more.I still highly recommend however, if just for the wonderful experience and delicious dishes!
Great vibe! Great location, the people are amazing and the food is excellent. They offer some really nice cuts of great meats, have access to great coffees and pastries as well. The whole menu is well put together and cooked to perfection. If you are indowntown Edmonton and would like to enjoy a great meal, make sure to make a stop at DOSC and have a drink. Such a cute spot for brunch in downtown Edmonton! Served from 10am 245pm. Really appreciate the gluten free and vegetarian options. The outdoor patio is quite lovely as well. I had the avocado benny $21) and it was quite delicious and filling. Theeggs were poached perfectly served on top of a fluffy cruffle and the hash browns were crispy. Service was good as well justhad to pay inside the restaurant as the machines don’t reach outside.
