Feedback
Nestled in Edmonton, Arcadia offers a cozy atmosphere combined with a menu full of inventive vegan dishes. Diners can enjoy classic pub fare like the YEG Unite donair and the Guy Fawkes burger, both showcasing local flavors and unique ingredients. While some dishes received mixed reviews, including overly salty flavors and texture inconsistencies, the overall experience remains positive thanks to friendly staff and a solid selection of Alberta craft beers. Despite recent menu shifts, Arcadia continues to attract plant-based enthusiasts with its inviting atmosphere and commitment to vegan cuisine.
A vegan bar in Edmonton! A cozy and relaxed space. The staff are friendly and the food tasty! The menu is small but excellent pub style food. Loved the chikin and waffles and the seitan ribs with awesome bbq sauce.
I used to go to arcadia often, but had not tried the food until recently. I am so glad I finally did! arcadia has a small but diverse menu featuring classic pub dishes and some surprising vegan options that are typically meat-based. I tried the Guy Fawkes burger, which was fantastic, and my partner had the Hugging and Wagging dish. The burger was delicious with homemade mayo and coconut bacon from a local food truck. The chicken and waffles were also great, with tofu as a tasty chicken substitute. They offer a selection of local draft beers, with Yellowhead being my favorite. I highly recommend arcadia. Unfortunately, as of summer 2018, arcadia has gone downhill. They have switched to a menu focused on pizza, added milk to some dishes making them not fully vegan, and even introduced meat options. With so many other vegan options in the city, arcadia is no longer unique or special. Updated from a previous review on July 5, 2018.
I went with my partner on a Saturday night here, always excited to try new vegan places in the city! this location has potential, with a stage that should be used more. Unfortunately, when we were there, the place was empty except us, so it was a little unpleasant. eating was at best mediocre. my partner got that since then huh and wad, and it wasn't definitiw since. the chicken bugs were 100% the choice of president soja nuggets from superstore, on a waffel plopped. I know because I ate this thing all the time. when I go out to dinner, I'm not going to eat that is not bought by superstore to be served three times the price. my sincere ribs were actually since then, although they were tasty they were only 4 records from since then in a basket. would like to go with a few vegan koleslaw or veggies with it because since then is very dense. overall I was really disappointed. this place has potential, but needs some work. will not come back until I heard the dinge have changed. updated by previous review on Thursday, 12 March 2015
A vegan bar in Edmonton! The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, with friendly staff and delicious food. The menu is small but offers excellent pub-style options. I especially enjoyed the "chikin" and wad with a tangy BBQ sauce.
I was excited to visit Arcadia while in Edmonton for business. The menu is all vegan, and I decided to try the YEG Unite donair on green plant cake. This was my first time trying a donair or green plant cake, as I am from the USA. The dish was tasty, but I found it to be a bit too salty and the texture of the seitan was more crispy than tender. The service, on the other hand, was excellent. The staff, who were both young, provided great beer recommendations and were very friendly. The beer selection featured all Alberta brews, and the Ribstone Creek White IPA I tried was fantastic. Overall, a good experience. (Review updated on Thursday, June 23, 2015)
