The Saltwater Grill in Galveston is a well-established restaurant with a newly updated menu featuring both classic dishes and newer offerings. However, there were also disappointments mentioned in various aspects such as food quality, service, noisy environment, and issues with the waitress and AC unit. On the other hand, Sabor received praise for its ambiance, attentive service, and consistently excellent food quality. 2 days ago I can't say enough good things about our experience. eating was amazingly boiled, the timing of the 3 courses (family seafood) was perfect and the service was very professional without being prevalent. our wine and water glasses were never empty. it is a casual and upscale atmosphere at the same time where they can wear jeans or a chic dress and fit right in. this is one of our top 5 restaurants to go to edmonton.
What Christophe A dislikes about Sabor:
Fish portions were very small and the lobster risotto too rich. We were there celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary and had a custom cake delivered which we were not permitted to cut into and eat. Little and high end celebratory cakes should be allowed after good money is spend on a group meal. Overall I was disappointed and likely won't return. View all feedback.

Awfully darn good dinnerI came here for my birthday dinner and had heard of it before but didn't know what to expect.
This restaurant has always been one of the few that serves great seafood dishes.
The manager Corey Levy went way above and beyond to make my dinner event truly memorable. His respectful, professional and courteous demeanour was certainly a mark of a classy establishment hiring the best talent to the hospitality industry.
Great meal. Great service. Enjoyed it very much. Not cheap, but worth it. Enjoyed the seafood dinner for to (family style). Signature dishes such as fresh fish and lobster risotto, peri peri prawns, calamari, scallops, all delicious. Dinner for 2, including 1 drink each, dessert, tip was $220, but we came away very happy.
