**Dining Experience at Bar Dojo: A Neighborhood Gem** Nestled in an unassuming location, Bar Dojo offers a captivating dining experience that has captured the hearts of many. The vibrant cocktails and extensive drink options further enhance the experience, although some found a few dishes could benefit from more texture. Dining here is always fantastic! The soft bowls, cockabb tacos, and Kahlua boar tacos were the standout favorites. It's a joyful 10th anniversary for us, as we've been here since the very first day.
Excellent service! we had 4 dishes of hh divided between two people and it was perfect the dumplings are delicious with a very delicate dish and tasteful filling and broth. we love their escape and bowl, but we need to save our appetite for those!
OK, a friend mentioned this place to me so I checked it out on YELP and then immediately made a reservation. The outside is not much to look at but the inside is upscale/casual. The ambiance is spot on. Wifey ordered an Empress cocktail and I had their Dragon Claw which was a little bit like a spicy Paloma. Both were very good. Junior was with us and we ordered family style to share everything because there were too many delicious looking choices to just get one item. We ordered the Spicy Pork Noodles, Ahi Poke Tacos, crab fried rice and the Coconut Honey Walnut Prawns. WOW!! The noodles were some of the best I 've ever had. The dish was SOOO flavorful and fresh tasting that I wanted more right away! ITS A MUST HAVE! The Ahi Poke tacos were super fresh and light (you get 5). The Coconut Honey Walnut Prawns were delicious. They had a very light crispy coating which really let the fresh seafood flavor shine...highly recommended! The crab fried rice was good but was not as outstanding as the other dishes. It 's a fairly small seating area so I would suggest you make reservations (we got ours for the same day). There is also a nice bar top to sit at if you don 't want a table.
Bar Dojo is the kind of place that doesn’t try too hard to grab attention from the outside; it’s quite unremarkable at first glance. However, once you step inside, everything changes. The atmosphere is relaxed yet elegant, making you feel like you've discovered a hidden local treasure. I opted to sit at the bar—because let’s face it, bar seating is always more enjoyable—and ordered a couple of appetizers along with a bowl of their noodles. Oh, those noodles! They were perfectly savory with just the right amount of spice, making them the perfect comfort food after a long workday. The appetizers were also exceptional, bursting with fresh flavors and beautifully presented. As someone who is visiting for business, I can confidently say this was one of the best meals I’ve had while traveling. It’s the kind of place that makes you think, "I would definitely come back here." Locals know it's a gem, and visitors—like me—get to savor it and find themselves already planning a return trip. Do yourself a favor and check it out; you won't be disappointed!
