This restaurant is amazing! The food is fresh and homemade, especially the delicious cakes. I highly recommend the date slice - it's very moreish and sugar-free. The staff are lovely as well. View all feedback.

I have been visiting the bakery and its two sister cafes for some time now, but mostly just buying bread. It's nice to see that they have expanded and now offer a daily special that always seems to be vegan. Today's special was a mixed vegetable curry that was mostly made up of eggplant. It was delicious. After years in the business, they are now focusing on themselves and it seems to be paying off. They have a good selection of gluten-free options and some vegan baked goods and cakes. My curry was really tasty and filling, but I didn't feel guilty afterwards.

I have never left a review or a complaint I popped into the bakery to try their cheese toasties advertised outside. After ordering I was a little shocked at how much it was, £9.25 for a takeaway. However, I was open/excited to try a really great toastie. After leaving, I opened it up to find a pathetic amount of cheese (see image attached). It definitely was not deserving of the 9.25 price tag. I did go back and the lady serving me who was kind, gave the toastie to the owner/baker who ‘remade’ this for me. When I then finally tucked into my lunch, due to the fact they had used the original toastie and only added cheese, the bread was soggy and the cheese wasn’t melted! Barely edible and falling apart! Service: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10
Little bakery just off the heart of Edinburgh. Lovely service, and great food. Had a scone with jam and a home baked sourdough toast with cheese and apple chutney accompanied by some premium orange juice. Reasonable prices for great food.
