Seafood platter up from $40 for 2 people WITH oysters last year to $46 for one person and NO OYSTERS! Clams on the half shell up from $12 to $19! What is going on? Shrinking portions, cutting previously included items, AND massive price hike! Never againwhat a rip.
Best seafood!!! Shrimp fish!!! Yum. We stayed at the Southfleet motel. We rode our bikes with the kids from the motel down the rail trail to Arnold?s. Great access entrance from trail to restaurant. We stopped for lunch and sat in the outdoor picnic areathat was covered next to the mini putt putt golf. Beautiful day. Entertainment for the kids with the kiddos playing putt putt.Music playing. Portable Bathrooms (small trailer) were outside in parking lot. We grabbed ice-cream too. Kids enjoyed it.
We adore this restaurant and make it a point to visit every time we're in Cape. We typically arrive 15-20 minutes before opening, and there's already a really long line. However...
This place is fantastic! The owner of the bed-and-breakfast we stayed at, the Eagle Inn, recommended Arnold's, and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed it so much that we went back for two nights in a row. The lobster is exceptional, and the baked fish we ordered was also delicious. If you're in the area, you absolutely should try Arnold's Lobster Clam Bar.
Arnold's Lobster Clam is a bustling cash-only seafood spot that's quite popular with tourists. I’ve sampled many fried clams across the Cape, and while theirs are tasty, they didn’t blow me away. Kream n Kone still holds the top spot for me. That said, the atmosphere captures a lovely summer vibe. It would benefit them to improve the register and line placement—given the substantial revenue they receive, it's definitely feasible. I would return if I were in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way. Overall, their menu is solid, just not the best I’ve experienced.
