Visited this place for lunch after such a long time. Different staff but excellent, delicious, hot, spicy food. Service quick and polite. Food is freshly cooked. We had a starter between us 2 large mixed lunches, cup of tea, falooda and paratha for £23.00. Will visit again when we have a chance. Restaurant is also clean and sells lots of Indian sweets too. What akilo989 dislikes about Chini Chor:
I ordered a chilli paneer and paneer sizzle, and to be honest, they were nothing special. They were just okay, but lacked flavor. The portion sizes were good though. View all feedback.
I have been to this restaurant multiple times and have been consistently impressed. On my first visit, I was hesitant to order Punjabi paranthas from a staff of Goans, but they truly surpassed my expectations. The staff is polite, although not overly friendly, and the service is quick. Their sweets are always fresh, and sometimes I visit just to get mithai. I have brought my own hot case to have the paranthas packed, and they are always accommodating. While I am not a fan of their chai and find their chaat to be just okay, you can never go wrong with their paranthas.

I just wanted to buy sweets. the personal is terrible. rude arrogant . I just wanted to check if sweet fresh the dame asked if we could taste if she hadn't say it was good, but she said that they taste. another dame asked them who said we give to taste and decrease. when she tasted us, said the arrogant, take the knife and cut into two and give it the half. is that the way they treat their customers? I wanted to dinate there, but this behavior is not acceptable. it wasn't a problem if she wanted to ask us.
I have visited the Hounslow branch many times, as I have been in the area frequently for work during the pandemic. I often stopped by to pick up a takeout or a chai. The staff have always been friendly and welcoming. While in Southall, I noticed a cafe and decided to stop by for a sweet and a chai while waiting for the bus. Upon entering, there were a few customers in the store and three ladies behind the counter. I asked one of the ladies for a certain sweet, but I struggled to pronounce it correctly. She repeatedly asked me to say it in English, then rolled her eyes and started speaking in another language and laughing with the customer next to me. This experience left me feeling unwelcome and unlikely to return. I used to recommend this place to my colleagues and friends at my airline, but now I may think twice.
