This cozy diner off of exit 73 on I-95 in North Carolina offers a classic breakfast experience with a focus on waffles, pancakes, and omelets. The owner, who has been cooking for over 50 years, ensures excellent food and service. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, with locals often striking up conversations with visitors. The prices are reasonable, and the bacon and pancakes are highlighted as particularly delicious. While the sweet tea may be slightly thin for some tastes, the overall experience is excellent with great southern hospitality. The restaurant is closed on Sundays, but open from 6 AM to 2 PM Monday through Saturday. Whether you're a regular or just passing through, this family-owned establishment is a must-visit for a taste of traditional country cooking and a warm, friendly atmosphere.
Friendly staff and tasty food! Typical breakfast offerings, we had the pecan waffle, pancakes, hash browns, country ham, and link sausage at our table. All tasty! Super fast service we were in and out quickly even though they were packed. We will stop again the next time we are in the area.
Wow an old time breakfast establishment. The owner is the cook (50+ years. Open 6AM TO 2PM Monday-Saturday. Closed Sundays. Excellent food, excellent service. You will not be disappointed. This is our new Breakfast place we live in Wadw.
Busy, Locally, owned. Closed on Sundays. Diner atmosphere, specialty is waffles, pancakes and omelets. No egg whites. Hadn't been in a while, decided to try again. Country cooking.
