Was Anonym at The Monkey a mag?
A hidden gem! As a city dweller visiting from the East Coast, I stumbled upon this fantastic spot. They offer an impressive selection of beers, cocktails, and spirits, all with a unique flair. The food was delicious, and the staff couldn't have been better, creating a great atmosphere with their music. It was a Tuesday night, but the place was packed (and it’s easy to see why). You certainly won’t be disappointed! View all feedback.
What Corena O dislikes about The Monkey:
The prawns were fantastic, but the rest of the meal fell short of expectations. The chips were cold and undercooked, while the schnitzel was both soggy and chilly. The garlic cream sauce lacked flavor, and the mushroom sauce didn’t taste fresh. On a positive note, the salad was fresh. The Apple Pie Bites, however, were simply outstanding, as was the vanilla ice cream. I realize it was a late order on a Friday night,... View all feedback.
I highly recommend this place! The burgers are incredibly tasty and there’s a great selection of beers. We were greeted with a bowl of popcorn, which was a nice touch. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent.
10/10!! The unique atmosphere, friendly staff, fantastic drinks, and incredible food were truly exceptional! The meals were absolutely delicious, and the apple pie dessert is a must-try!! We highly recommend The Monkey Bar to anyone, and if you're passing through or staying overnight like we did, you definitely need to dine there – you won't regret it!!
We visited this restaurant to try their cocktail menu, and we were really impressed! After enjoying a variety of drinks, we had some delicious burgers. Be sure to ask for a sauce with your fries, as they have some fantastic options. Due to COVID restrictions, the place wasn't too crowded, which was nice. Even before it filled up, the music was at a good volume for conversation, contributing to a great atmosphere overall.
The food was delicious! The plain Jane dish was cooked perfectly, and the salad was fresh, crisp, and very tasty.
