A wonderfully eclectic establishment, The Old Crouch, serves in-house made food such as burgers, sandwiches, and cabbage rolls, among other things. The food itself tastes great and the portion sizes were generous. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.My only disappointment: I didn't have enough room for dessert. This restaurant is a longtime favorite in the area and appears to be operated by a single individual, perhaps a grumpy old owner. It is quite small in size but has a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant runs on its own schedule, as it closed early but reopened for dinner hours. The menu is limited, but the food is delicious.
That was my first time in old grouch for something to eat, and it was amazing! I was with my family, so we had to get a table that sat people, we found one in the next room that was decorated in elvis memorabilia. that was cheesy and funny! all their foods are homemade and it is delicious! everything is made to order, so there is a small waiting period, but it is so worth it! definitely worth going for a meal when they are in the drum!
