pro:-seperate räume für private feiern (hochzeiten, geb. ...)-angeblich viele spiesenanteile selbst gemachtcontas (in unserem fall):- "spargel mit schinkenvariationen" stellte sich als spargelteller heraus der mit einem zusätzlichen teller mit 2erlei schinken gebracht wurde-der 2. teller mit dem schinken kam 5 min nach dem spargel-spargel war hart!-keine möglichkeit sauce nachzuordern weil kellner mit der veranstaltu... Some friends took us to this wonderful restaurant just outside the old city of Dresden. They wanted us to experience very good traditional German food....and it was delicious, but heavy...more meat than we're used to eating at one meal.My husband had the venison with red...cabbage and potatoes, I had half a duck I ate only of that), red cabbage and potato dumplings, one of our friends had ham with two fried eggs, mashed potatoes and veggies, two other friends had schnitzel (pork) with Pfifferlingen mushrooms and fries, and another friend had liver,cheese and fries. We all had drinks either apple juice for the kids or beer and the sweet wine that comes out in the fall. The total bill was euros for six people. Amazing!The owner makes his own sausage and special delicacies.I would highly recommend this restaurant if you have a car and can drive there and have a BIG appetite.
Our group of friends decided for a small walk through the forrest before the dinner. Instead of a direct way from the obvious parking bay we searched an almost twice long forest path and experienced the fresh spring green. The small strain made all thirst...and desire for a dinner. This was taken up in the bar without hesitation and tasty drinks and dishes were served in free choice.
A few months ago, my wife and I took a tour of Germany. During our tour of Dresden, we ate at the Waldmax. What a great place to eat and drink. The staff was very helpful and accommodating and the food tastes great. If in...Dresden, check this place out.
