Was Anonym at Mr Collins a mag?
Had some good pasta for lunch with a client. Service was quick and the food quality very good. Only issue was how long it took to get our bill and pay for lunch. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Mr Collins:
We had a drink during their excellent Friday night happy hours where peroni beer is only $5. We were also provided with complimentary pizza breads whilst enjoying our beer. They also in general do great pizzas and have nice ambiance.Unfortunately we wont be returning as several of my workmates including myself have experiences very surly and unfriendly gruff service from an older caucasian server. I was told by others that she is the owners wife.To the OWNER I would be more than happy to return for cheap beers and Italian food but not until we get better service. I see several reviewers have had similar experiences including several of my work colleagues.
Grabbed a quick Piccolo. Hit the spot, perfect flavour, froth and heat. The home made Portuguese tarts looks great too.
I have had toasted banana bread multiple times from Mr Collins and normally it's really good. This morning I went and paid $4.50 for a slice of banana bread that was clearly cut wrong and about half the width of a normal slice. I very politely asked the person behind the counter if that was the normal slice, to which I was met with a blank stare and 'that's just what their like'. I know that's not true and to pay $4.50 for the slice was a joke. Very disappointed.

Very disappointed with the service. The lady in the counter does not know what good manners are. It is not the first time I go there, and as always she seems so annoyed by customers; her voice tone is rude and it looks she wants to get rid of customers as soon as possible. She really did not show any respect. Service: 1
