The food and atmosphere are unparalleled in the area. The service is consistently excellent. We requested custom lemon pepper wings topped with firecracker sauce, and they happily fulfilled our request without any issues. The service was terrible, and my $55 ribeye was sadly thin, tough, and overcooked, with a lot of gristle. None of the food was seasoned well. The only highlight was the view, which is why I'm giving it two stars. View all feedback.
This was our first visit, and we had a wonderful experience! The staff was extremely friendly, and the food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the complimentary birthday dessert, which was bread pudding. It also came with a candle, and the staff sang Happy Birthday to my wife, which made the occasion even more special. We will definitely return!
Congratulations to the new owners of Lazy Gator! The appetizers and fish fingers are fantastic. The new lunch menu offers a great variety, and the specials on the board look appealing. The drink prices are quite reasonable, and the wine selection is impressive. Welcome to Diamondhead!

It’s been a year since we last visited, and we decided to give the restaurant another shot. I’m really glad we did! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, which set the perfect tone for the delicious food we enjoyed. I’m happy to see that things have improved, as the location and views are fantastic. We will definitely be returning! We also loved the band that played while we were there.
Lazy Gator is one of the few dining options in Diamondhead, and it offers a solid variety of delicious food in a lovely waterfront setting. My friend and I have visited multiple times and have consistently enjoyed our meals. We've tried a range of dishes, including the Buffalo chicken sandwich, gator bites, flatbreads, and mahi tacos, among others. They also host live music on certain nights, as well as trivia nights, which add an enjoyable touch to the experience. The trivia is a lot of fun and makes for a great way to keep diners entertained while they eat. I can't wait to share some photos from my next visit!
