I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, I was let down. I ordered the queso fundido, and it was a major disappointment. It was watery, greasy, and the flavor just didn't hit the mark. I also tried the mini chicken chimis, which were decent, but the accompanying queso was also watery.
Incredible! This is the best Mexican food I've ever tasted! I will definitely return, as both the service and the food were fantastic.
You really can't go wrong with any choice on the menu here. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is lively! They have a full bar and offer table-side guacamole made just the way you like it, which is a must-try and absolutely delicious! We also had grilled jalapeños on the side, seasoned with garlic and chili powder, which were grilled and cut into chunks—these were INCREDIBLE and added a fantastic burst of flavor to the meal. For the Taco Salad, I recommend going with chicken or steak, as the ground beef tends to make the shell a bit soggy. The kids’ cheese quesadilla came with a side of fries, and the mixed fajitas were served hot and full of flavor! My daughter loved the churros; while I found them a bit dense for my taste, she was thrilled, so it was a success overall.
For a local chain of Mexican restaurants, this is 5 star all day. Good food, amazing service, fun trivia on Wednesdays.
