We had the best service!! Maddie was our server / bartender and I have to say that they really made our experience on the place extra special! In fact, we had burgers and then went to the square, but we landed on the way back to drink for her. The food was good.

The food was outstanding! Exactly what we had ordered! However, the service was lacking. The waitress hardly came by, and I didn’t get a refill of unsweetened iced tea until after I had finished my dinner. When I received the bill, I noticed I was charged twice for iced tea. When I asked the waitress about it, she informed me that there are no free refills on iced tea. Who doesn’t offer refills on iced tea these days? I will definitely think twice before returning!
One of my favorite bars in Denton, their drinks are really cheap, they offer a wide selection of drinks, they always have some sort of theme for the holidays and I've been lucky to go during winter and Halloween and had some of their seasonal drinks,their food is okay but it's the bar life that I love and had some good times there.
To make matters worse, the service was horrendous. Our waitress was on her phone the entire time, hiding near the kitchen. After bringing our food, she vanished to chat with her friends at the bar. Eventually, she asked if we needed the check and delivered it, but when my husband took out his card to pay, we were left waiting. Instead of coming over to collect our payment, she stayed socializing with her friends, as if we were inconveniencing her. I can’t believe the combination of terrible food and awful service we experienced tonight. This is the worst place I’ve dined in Texas! We won't be returning, and I think Hooligans could really use a visit from John from Bar Rescue!
