Nestled in the heart of Denby Pottery Village, this restaurant offers a diverse menu at reasonable prices, appealing to a wide range of diners. While some patrons enjoyed the piping-hot dishes and friendly service, others experienced shortcomings, such as overcooked items and inconsistent portion sizes. The café’s clean atmosphere and ample parking enhance the dining experience, alongside delightful beverages like tea and coffee. Despite minor service hiccups, many guests appreciated the generous portions and variety, making it a place worth revisiting. A suggestion was made for more child-friendly options, particularly for afternoon tea, ensuring all family members can savor the experience.

Was Jade Hughes at Bourne's a mag?
The food was enjoyable and reasonably priced, with a diverse menu. Everything was served piping hot, but the poached eggs were slightly overcooked. The service was fairly quick, and all meals were presented in Denby dishes. The coffee was delightful. You order breakfast at the counter, and the staff will bring it to your table. The employees were friendly, and the café was quite busy during my visit.

If I could make one suggestion, it would be to offer child-friendly sandwiches for afternoon tea. We had shrimp, beef with horseradish, tuna, and cheese sandwiches. While they were all very tasty, they weren’t quite to the kids’ liking. My son, however, was thrilled with the biggest slice of chocolate cake he had ever seen!
Excellent value, attentive staff, and high-quality products. The café is clean and cozy. No complaints!
