I absolutely adore this place! The atmosphere is fantastic, the coffee is delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly. It reminds me of the coffee shops back in Austin, Texas, where I live. I will definitely make it a point to visit Java John's every time I'm in Decorah. View all feedback.
You won't find a more welcoming place than Java John's! The connection with people is what they do best... besides coffee drinks and delicious muffin tops. Live music, good company, good food and hot coffee... what is not to love!?
We had breakfast there every morning in Decorah and loved the food and our coffee was good.

The coffee shop is bright, clean, and lively. It has a wonderful atmosphere and serves excellent coffee as well.
One of my favorite coffee shops. It is right up there with Buddhas in Lichsela Sweden, Zanzibars in Des Moines and Cabin Coffee in Clear Lake. Great coffee and great environment.
