Food is so good n not crazy overpriced like some thai restaurant in hotel. Chef Amara (pui) is very nice. Always come out n say hi whenever she has time. Even waitress April always give me a warm welcome. I really feel like home when i eat here.
Had never heard of the GEM before and so glad that we chose Bambooda as the location to celebrate my brother's birthday !!! AMAZING THAI FOOD !!! for anyone who's looking to have a pure Thai experience, this is your place ! we ordered dumplings, chicken basil, cashew nut chicken, prawn tempura, spicy beef, and one of the best mango sticky rice I've had in a while; in Dubai! The staff was so courteous and attentive to every need ! The space was designed really well, with their own little Koi Pond, which we sat right next to ! And true to their name, every single item of guest furniture was designed with Bamboo wood ! Their price range is on the higher side and more fitting for an occasional visit, but I wouldn't mind going again to relive those DELICIOUS memories !!! GOOD JOB GUYS ! We wanted the food spicy as it’s meant to be in Thai cuisine. But was not happy as it wasn’t even mildly spicy.
