The chicken katsu is perfectly cooked with a hint of spice, while the Chotaro, featuring black milk tea and taro boba, impresses with its flavor. However, the infamous popcorn chicken has left many disappointed due to excessive breading and inconsistent quality, leading to complaints about service and order delays. Despite minor issues, the vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff, and unique offerings, like the Star-Jelly, keep patrons coming back. Just remember to check the kitchen hours before your visit, as take-out is the only option available.
We traveled from Ceres, and although the main reason for our trip wasn't to visit this restaurant, it turned out to be a wonderful surprise! I tried some boba and playfully tossed them at my partner's face, which resulted in lots of laughter. I ended up ordering a blizzard with boba, and I really enjoyed it. It's such a delightful little spot; I hope to return again soon!
The tea had a lovely flavor that I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, the popcorn chicken didn't meet my expectations. Although it had a bit of spice, it was almost tasteless and quite bland. There was too much breading and not enough chicken. Additionally, if you order online, there are no notifications about when your order will be ready, so you have to go in and check on it yourself.
The milk tea with boba we ordered was ready in just 2 minutes! The team is very efficient and prepares delicious drinks (and food). We really enjoy their popcorn chicken and Thai fries!
The chicken katsu is absolutely exceptional. Unlike other places I've been to, the meat is cooked to perfection here. It has just the right amount of spice, which I really appreciate as a fan of spicy food, and it doesn’t bother me at all. Plus, the portion size is very generous.
