Despite experiencing booking issues through OpenTable, with the manager having to sort out a table, the food at Harvester was lackluster. The salad was mediocre, prawns were poorly presented, and the half chicken and chips were disappointing. Service from the waitress was polite and efficient, although feedback wasn't given truthfully. In contrast, another diner praised the incredible food and friendly service, recommending the restaurant for various occasions. However, reservation problems via OpenTable were a common theme among reviewers, leading to a suggestion to book directly with the restaurant. Overall, mixed opinions about the food and service were present, with particular emphasis on avoiding using OpenTable for reservations.
Lydia the waitress was very polite and helpful and the food was absolutely amazing and I would recommend it to anyone with families and date nights or any occasions in that matter all well done in my opinion
Do not use OpenTable to book your reservation. I booked through Open Table for our party of and received an email confirming. When we arrived at the Harverster they could not find any reservation, and the manager had to move tables around to fit us in. In future I will contact the restaurant myself and not waste my time using Open Table
