I was pleasantly surprised to discover this Mediterranean restaurant in Center City. It's just a quick six-minute walk from Suburban Station. We shared Aya’s taster as an appetizer for four people, which included four different types of hummus, falafel, tzatziki, waraq enab, kalamata olives, and baba ghanoush, along with plenty of pita bread. We really enjoyed it! For my lunch entrée, I tried the Seared Almond Crusted Salmon, and it was delicious! They also serve the best French fries I've ever had (no kidding). The service was excellent; everyone was taken care of very well.
The food is both intriguing and satisfying, with generous portion sizes. Two of us opted for the $25 three-course meal, which is quite a good value. I had the hummus appetizer (which was alright) and the Moussaka (a hearty dish with a meaty red sauce and a cheese topping; it was very delicious).
Charming Mediterranean BYOB restaurant with lovely decor. I visited for lunch with a friend, but I’m excited to return for a romantic dinner with my partner. The food was delicious, though the portions were decent. Our server, Nina, provided excellent service. The lentil soup was the best I’ve ever had!
Super relaxed environment. Server was really nice and accomadating. Lots of vegan options. Nice little candles on table. Really cool music. Nice comfy chairs, dim lighting. And most important- FANTASTIC FOOD. Couscous I love it. First time having Egyptian food and it was delicious. Highly recommend.
Food was delicious. We shared a salad with an extra chicken skewer and each got a lentil soup. They were good to the last drop Atmosphere was fair. Would be better for lunch. I don't get a dinner vibe there.
